ADULT PRESENTATIONS


MCGT invites parents, counselors and other professionals, gifted/talented resource teachers and coordinators, classroom

teachers, administrators and others who live or work with gifted/talented kids of all ages to submit proposals for presentations on topics such as characteristics, education,

needs (social, emotional, intellectual, academic), parenting and advocacy.


Adult Presentation criteria:

√ Submit proposals by July 7, 2017 to Questions? Want to discuss your proposal? Call 320-587-7519 or e-mail crowriver@mcgt.net

√ Sessions will be 60 minutes long (including question and answer time).

√ Attach a 50-100 word description of the content of your session(s) suitable for use in the conference program.

√ Electronic equipment may be available upon request.

√ No conference fee for presenters. (Accompanying adults or children pay fee.)

√ Committee responds to all applicants (usually by e-mail) when information is received.


CHILD PROGRAM PROPOSAL


MCGT invites you to submit proposals for kids’ session presentations that will be of interest to gifted and talented children in kindergarten through seventh grade who are attending the conference with their parents.


Child Presentation criteria:

√ Submit by proposals by June 2, 2017 , Questions? Want to discuss your proposal? Call LynMarie Berntson, 952-848-4906, or e-mail rlbernt@comcast.net

√ Kids’ sessions will be 3 hours long, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

√ Include a short description of the content of your session(s) suitable for use in the conference registration information and in the program

√ Electronic equipment, such as a DVD player, may be available upon request.

√ Stipend of $100 per class ($200 for two classes), plus materials reimbursement and lunch. (Accompanying adults or children register for and pay conference fee.)

√ Committee responds to all applicants (probably by e-mail) when information is received.
