Join this session to: • enhance your understanding of children’s intensities and unique needs related to their high potential; • gain insights into how to strengthen your child’s individual needs as you strengthen your own family’s values and style – summer-style ; • get ideas on how to maximize your child’s time outside of the school calendar year; and • participate in Q&A. Julie Light, Ed.D Julie was a gifted education specialist in three Minnesota public school districts where she 1) helped meet the social, emotional, & academic needs of gifted and highly talented learners; 2) trained teachers; 3) designed and implemented gifted education services; 4) wrote gifted/talented curriculum; and 5) conducted parent education sessions.
