MCGT 2024 Speaker Event:

Spotting Neurodivergence in the Wild: A Guide to Our Differently Wired Kids

Monday, October 21, 2024, 6:30-8:00pm CST

via Zoom

Presenter:  Matthew Zakreski, Psy.D.

As parents of GT and 2E children, understanding the idea of neurodiversity and how neurodivergent and neurotypical students differ provides a lens through which to see your child.  This workshop helps ground parents in understanding neurodiversity, social skills, learning styles, and emotional regulation to help parent our GT and 2E children better. When we meet our kids where they are and work with them to build their strengths and develop their weaknesses, they not only feel better, but they do better too.
